520 _aAbstract: Fish are vertebrates most susceptible to parasitic infestation due to their habitat. The consumption of raw fish, poorly cooked or partially smoked by humans can cause parasitic infections, and zoonoses are parasitic. Calophysus macropterus and Pimelodus blochii are catfishes belonging to the family Pimelodidae, known as water buzzards and mandi, respectively. The present study had as objective to analyze the occurrence of Anisakidae larvae of zoonotic behavior found in Calophysus macropterus and Pimelodus blochii collected in the Iaco river in the municipality of Sena Madureira - Acre. A total of 40 specimens of the C. macropterus fish and 40 P. blochii specimens were collected in the Iaco River, Sena Madureira - Acre, Brazil. The analyzed fish were identified according to Soares et al. (2008). The visceral cavity was separated into Petri dishes with physiological saline for parasitological analysis as described by Fontenelle et al. (2015). The Anisakidae larvae were fixed in AFA and stored in 70º GL alcohol and observed under an Opton light microscope. The larvae were clarified with glycerin and photomicrographs in a camera coupled to the light microscope DM5500B (LEICATM), using the LAS System 3.8 program (LEICATM). Of the 80 samples analyzed, in 22 samples were found the presence of Nematoda parasites, with 17 infected specimens belonging to the species C. macropterus, and 5 hosts the P. blochii species. Prevalence (P) 42.5 and 12.5, mean intensity (MI) 8.11 and 2.4, mean abundance (MA) 3.45 and 0.3, site of infection / infestation mesentery for Water Urubu and Mandi, respectively. Therefore, the parasite index for the species studied was low, and it was necessary, more research to identify the larvae found, the occurrence of nematode larvae of the family Anisakidae was recorded and should alert the community and authorities competent to the problem, should it happen to the ingestion of raw and undercooked fish.
