It is known that it is not always offered good food for the students, in this sense is fundamental to rescue this practice and encourage the production and consumption of regional health food. Working healthy eating habits with students can improve quality of life, since the current society lives inserted in a way that seeks to processed foods that are easy and quick preparation. According to Iraia and Fernandes (2001), the production of vegetables helps the quality of life and should be developed in school, because in this social space vest habits that will be used throughout the life of the individual. The work aims to deploy an agroecological school vegetable garden at school Maria Cidália Lima kindergarten belt and thus stimulate students' learning through the conservation of the environment where the deployment of the garden was made, as care through practice irrigation and harvesting. In the twenty first century healthy food is one of the most discussed topics in daily life, in order that the implementation of a school garden would be a viable means for the consumption of vegetables in the diet, when the vegetables are produced in the school, provide extra activities with students, as careful with greenery, promote responsibility towards the environment where they live. The Children's Education School Maria Cidália meets two hundred seventy-two students, so through this project will be able to meet a significant number of children serving as the basis for the acquisition of knowledge about the importance of good eating habits from childhood. The materials and methods was carried out the description of the place where it would be carried out the implementation of the school garden and was also made to the types of sites, crop choices, planting, cultivation, inputs and tools, fertilizer, and data collection. In the results and discussion a survey was conducted with school students where data were presented that 50% like vegetables and 50% do not like vegetables. The interest of children to have a school garden was very satisfying that was 100% of the students would like to have a school garden. The project was well accepted by the faculty and students of the school, as an excellent alternative to boost the educational institution.Keywords: agroecology eating habits healthy eating.
