Clearance certificate

📄 Clearance certificate

Workflow and procedures:

The clearance certificate (nada consta) is the document that proves there are no outstanding issues with the Ifac Library coordination offices.

To optimize service, it is important to emphasize that the user does not need to request this document directly from the library.

🔍 How the process works:

The request is made internally and automatically by the responsible departments, depending on the needs of each case:

  • For Students: When requesting a diploma or certificate, transfer, withdrawal, or cancellation of enrollment, the Coordenação de Registro Escolar (Coreg) requests the clearance from the library. Being up to date with library services is a mandatory condition for issuing the discharge document. If there are pending items, the document is not issued and the process is held until regularized.
  • For Staff/Servidores: The Coordenação de Gestão de Pessoas (Cogep) or the Diretoria Sistêmica de Gestão de Pessoas (Disgp) makes the request in cases of professional qualification leave, personal interest leave, removal, redistribution, or assignment, among others. The staff member must be clear with the library for their administrative process to proceed. If there are pending items, the document is not issued and the process is held until regularized.

✅ Summary for the user:

Simply start your process with the competent department. The library will respond directly to these sectors confirming your status. If you know you have overdue materials or debts, visit your campus library to regularize your situation before starting the administrative process.
